Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been suspended by the Portuguese Football Federation following a heated disagreement with national team head coach Jorge Jesus, according to the UK Mirror.
The 41-year-old football star allegedly walked out of Portugal’s national team camp after a major fallout with the coach, triggering an automatic suspension under the federation’s disciplinary regulations.
A disciplinary committee is expected to review the incident and determine the duration of the suspension, which could range from one to six months.
Ronaldo has since publicly apologised for his conduct, acknowledging that his actions warranted disciplinary measures.
